Photography
Tips
If you're taking a shot of something in the far distance, try to include something that is closer to you in the foreground to give the photo more interest, contrast of dimension and depth of field.
Vertical or horizontal orientation? If there is a tall structure in the background which you can completely fit in your shot (consider the Eiffel tower or the leaning tower of Pisa), change your orientation to include the structure in your photo for more interest. Take another shot of it horizontally just to give yourself a choice of which one you prefer.
Get close up! A close-up might better reveal the expression and mood of the person that may be missed on longer shots.
Consider changing your eye level. Shooting a picture looking upward or downward toward your subject rather than straight-on can make a dramatic difference in the interpretation of your composition.
Don't forget your surroundings, they can make terrific frames for your subjects too; an arched gateway, an open balcony window, curtains in the foreground. Be aware of all the possibilities and practise, practise, practise.

F A Q S
Q: "Where do I go to pay using Pay Pal ?"
A: For digitally transmitted files, there will be a link on the page we send to you when you view your water-marked images. You click the link, pay and we send your photos to you.
Q: "What type of inks do you use for printing the photos?"
A: We use dye inks which have been rated to endure up to 100 years in acid-free photo albums or proper frames.
Q: "Do you do DVD photo shows? I thought I saw that here a while ago? "
A: We are phasing out that category of service but might consider special requests for critical circumstances such as "In Memoriams". Again, this would only be by special request.
Q: "This might be a weird question, but, our wedding pictures got lost in a recent move, can you put our faces on someone else's wedding photo just so that we have some sort of wedding photo even though it won't be exactly like ours? "
A: Of course we can super-impose body parts, however, in a situation such as yours, we would definitely need the copyright disclaimer in-hand prior to any work being performed, with an additional statement to the effect that the photos are truly of you and your spouse; this is to avoid any possibility of fraudulent representation. Insofar as using someone else's wedding photo, we do have a small stock of our own wedding photos which could be used legally.
