Photo Art is the "art" of transforming any photo to an art-style.
B&W photos may be 'artified' as B&W or after colorizing the photo.
Styles of art are literally endless. Below are only a few examples of what can be achieved.

The anticipatory expression on the beautiful young model in this photo and her sporty clothing, gave a feeling of "action". We enhanced that feeling by transforming the photo into more of a cartoon effect and added selective colorization. This effect would also make a really cool, full-size poster with selective text too! Here she is again; different clothing, different atmosphere, different pose. Again, we chose more of a 'poster' effect and added the edgy, gregarious color of purple for the stylish boots.

Although we cropped the original photo to fit this page, we maintained focus of the image on the little girl. Applying digital 'paint' and texture, the transformed photo gives the impression of paint on canvas.
